Bust the UAW

Bust the UAW
Dave Speck

Why are the Republicans so aggressively attacking the United Auto Workers’ Union? Isn’t it a good thing for American Middle Class to make a decent, or even a good living? Of course it is.

In fact, the only way we’re going to clean up after the Republican mismanagement is to put more money in the hands of the low and middle class. Putting all the money at the top like the Republican politicians have been doing for the past 30 years has caused this mess and the only way out is to roll back the Republican stupidity.

Destroying the UAW will plunge this country into a depression worse than the last Republican Great Depression of the 20s and 30s. The Republican politicians know this, but they don’t care. If they can get a couple more billions for their friends and for themselves at the expense of America tax payers, they’re all for it. If America crashes and burns, they don’t care. They’ll have theirs and to hell with the rest of us.

We have to stop this stupidity now, immediately. We can’t afford to destroy one of the few remaining middle-class wage industries. America won’t survive it.

[Update ]
Today Bush announced that he is interested (is investigating) in allowing the auto industry to file for a “controlled” bankruptcy. We’re on the brink of the next Republican Great Depression and he wants to kill the auto industry and the three million American jobs that will go along with it. We know he’s a moron but is the rest of the government so worthless that they can’t stop it? No wonder we’re only paying our representatives over 10 times what the average American makes.

[Update II] Bush announces a low interest loan. Will this be just enough to get the companies through bankruptcy so they can bust the union?
